More Autumn harvest

Imagine a devoted craftsman beavering away in his workshop at the end of his garden. He slaves hard all through the Summer and into the Autumn to create masterpieces to delight his many friends around the world. Well, that’s what’s been happening over at Calpe Towers…
I have news from Peter F. about the latest sculpts that are due for release.
The most immediate prospect is the Prussian musketeer trail-arms set. These are about to go into the moulds after a period of revision. Peter started with a basic set of figures back in August but decided they lacked that certain something. So he added three officers (one mounted, two on foot). But it didn’t stop there and Peter got carried away and added a drummer, a standard bearer, an enthusiastic figure and a casualty figure. You can expect the full list to be added to the Calpe site in the next couple of days.
Meanwhile sculpting work has continued on corps command sets. Sculpts for Yorke and Bulow are finished while Kleist and Tautenzein are on the sculpting table and almost complete. I know that news is going to excite many of you.
And what of the Saxons? Well, there’s definite news about progress on that front and something from Peter that he’s asked to share here to invite feedback and comments. I think it’s important enough to deserve its own separate post, so I won’t say any more right now other than to invite you to pop back later with your thinking caps on, ready to offer your opinions.
